The 2012 Toy Industry Awards took place on January 24th at Banqueting House in London.
The evening proved to be a happy occasion for LeapFrog, Hasbro and The Entertainer who won Toy of the Year, Supplier of the Year and Toy Retailer of the Year respectively. Christine Nicholls, the BTHA Chairman, also awarded Bentalls of Kingston with a Special Recognition Award presented for outstanding achievement in toy retail.

The lavish Toy Industry Awards take place on the opening night of Toy Fair each year and is attended by all the major players in the toy industry. 2012 was the 59th Toy Fair - and whilst some awards have come and gone, many new ones are being introduced to reflect changing toy categories and personalities.
