Cecile Doll Review

Corolle the French doll maker tries to make a doll to suit every child and Cecile is one of the few black dolls available. She is part of the Les Cheries range of dolls suitable for children aged 5 years and above. She is a breathtakingly stunning looking doll and her photographs do not do her justice.

Cecile is made from vinyl which is surface washable and she is 13 inches (33cm) tall. Her eyes open and close and she has wild hair – black and curly - which is rooted and easily washed and styled. She comes in a trendy outfit suede looking moccasin boots, denim trousers, a pretty top made from the finest nylon gossamer type material which is white with circles and geometric shapes of orange, yellow and purple with a pink t-shirt underneath.

She is wearing a cream knitted cardigan with knitted pink scarf. As Cecile has the body shape of a girl rather than a baby doll, she has lots of outfits available from a ballerina outfit to nightwear to a warm coat to leggings set. As well as Cecile in the Les Cheries range there is Cathy, an Asian doll or three white dolls Chloe, Clar and Camille.
