Main Plan Toys Kitchen Centre Features:
The Plan Kitchen Centre is a really sturdy wooden toy, made of sustainable rubberwood. The unit, which is 60cm high to the worksurface and 100cm to the top of the integral shelf, has two sides to play with: the cooker side, which has two hotplates on its natural wood surface, two black knobs that click and an opening oven with soft orange coloured door; and the sink side, which has a round metal sink set in to the natural wood surface, a rotating grey tap, two black knobs that click and a drop-down door to an orange coloured cupboard which could be imagined to be a dishwasher, washing machine, or just an ordinary cupboard.
The shelf unit is attached to the middle of the worksurface and has a small shelf and a rack for cooking utensils – the Plan cooking utensil set spoon and fork fit perfectly in to the slots in the rack.
Plan Toys Kitchen Centre Benefits:
This Kitchen Centre provides the basis for plenty of role-playing games involving all the elements that make up cooking a meal, including the washing up! It can be played with by one child on his own, although having a distinct play area on each side makes it great for playing with siblings or friends.

Perfect for sharing
Comment by Meg, 2nd June 2010
We bought this kitchen at Christmas as a joint gift for our children who were aged 17 months and 3 1/2 at the time. Six months on and they still both love it! It's an ideal kitchen for siblings to share as it has two sides - one with the oven and one with the dishwasher. It's also perfect for our tiny flat as it takes up very little space and we can store all their food and kitchen equipment inside.
It's great for imaginative role play and I know they'll enjoy it for years to come as their older cousins love to play with it too.
