Melissa and Doug Fill and Spill Toolbox with Toys Review

The soft Fill and Spill Toolbox from Melissa and Doug is a lovely first toy tool kit for a child age 18 months+ and has all the quality and attention to design detail that you expect from a quality toy brand.
The fabric toolbox itself is approximately 20x20x15cm and has a handle marked out in inches, providing early numeracy and counting opportunities. All the tools and accessories fit inside the tool box, giving the child to experience stacking and fitting together shapes in order to get them all to sit inside it. This, hopefully, will give them some practise at patience!
The kit includes plush fabric hammer, saw, screwdriver and a vibrating drill, plus two soft 'wooden' blocks and nails. Bash the screws with the hammer and pull the drill cord to feel it buzz. All the tools are soft, so even the most over-exuberant little work person should be quite safe and so should siblings and the house around them! The entire set is machine washable and comes in bright colours and tactile corduroy material.
Kids love to mimic their parents and the world around them. The Fill and Spill Tool Kit is the perfect way for them to join in with DIY without causing more damage than normal!
