In the case of the 3D Mould And Paint Farmyard Friends kit, kids aged three or older can mould and paint their very own toy cows, horses, sheep and pigs. The kits are designed for one child to play with adult supervision or for two children to play together. The plaster of paris provided dries and hardens quickly so the models can be swiftly created, and the moulds are entirely reusable. There is even a farmyard pop-up scene included in the kit so once the animals are made and painted, they can be played with in their “natural habitat.”
The craft kit includes a bag of plaster, four two-piece animal moulds, two paint strips and paint brushes, plus sandpaper and a carving tool for fine detail work and double-sided sticky tape to keep things in place. Fully detailed instructions are also provided, which helped the children get off to a flying start. This is a great way for children to spend a rainy day – creative and satisfyingly messy!
