Jellycat Bashful Bunny Collection Review
by Fleurtations
In 2010, Jellycat launched their Bashful Bunny Collectables range. This will be an ongoing project with three totally unique Bashfuls being launched every few months. There are only a limited number (approximately 12,000) of each design available and when they are gone they will not be coming back.
The first Bashful Bunnies Collectables (consisting of Blackberry, Bonnie and Bubbles) arrived at the beginning of 2010. The second set consisting of Clover, Curly and Cotton Tail were released in June 2010. They are 23cm high and very tactile coming in a range of colours from beige to pink, stripes to spots. The idea behind them is to appeal to toy collectors who will like the idea of only a limited quantity being available.
The Bashful Bunny range has also seen the re-release of the popular Blossom Beige Bunny and Blossom Cream Bunny. This has swelled the Bashful Bunny range to include thirteen designs and a total of thirty six bashful designs in total.
Jellycat started as a company back in 1999 and have matured, in a relatively short period of time, into a global company with offices in the USA and outlets around the world. Their priority is absolute safety in the manufacturing and choice of materials. They comply and exceed EN71 European Testing standard and ASTM the American Testing standard.
