BIG New Bobby Car Review
The New Bobby Car from BIG is a robust, foot-to-floor ride-on toy made in Germany. As the name implies it is a revision of the classic Bobby Car manufactured by toy maker BIG since 1972. The car body has been specially developed to meet the needs of children in the 21st century and features a streamline design. Made of durable plastic, the BIG New Bobby Car is a long-lasting toy accompanying a child for many years.
The seat is comfortable and gives the youngest ones confidence and security. A low centre of gravity allows even babies from the age of 1 to sit on the car without fearing to tip over. A secret compartment underneath the speedometer gives enough room to hide little treasures.
While your kids get older and learn to use their feet to move the car, you will appreciate the 'Whisper Wheels' fitted as standard. The tyres are made of rubber compound ensuring good grip and low level of noise when your toddler races down the hallway.
Should the feet get too tired after longer distances, toddlers can put up their legs and rest them securely on the front of the car while being pushed or towed. Once the child grows older and taller the groove in the seat will serve as a rest for one knee while the other leg will be used for moving forward.
The Bobby Car is fitted with couplings at the front and back. These can be used in conjunction with many accessories available separately, such as trailer, towing rope or push handle. The German runabout is available in several colours such as classic red, blue, 'Hello Kitty' pink and many other editions.
