This chunky, robust cargo truck from John Crane has a roomy front compartment for transporting toys, books and in some cases, little brothers! It is constructed from pine, with rubber tyres and can be assembled in under 30 minutes.

Benefits
This is a very attractive ride-on toy and encourages gross motor skills, although the heavy solid wood makes it slightly hard for some children to manoeuvre. Adults noted that the painted wood at the front chipped after some particularly boisterous driving, which is a shame given the relatively high price.
