As part of Casdons "Little Shopper" range, the Talking Self-Service Checkout from Casdon is a great way for kids to learn about items they will soon have to encounter in real life on a trip to the supermarket. Packed full of electronic features like a scanning sound and working light sensor, it even incorporates a pretend play cash or credit card payment system. Kids can enter their pin number just like the real thing and write their own receipt!
In addition to the pretend bank notes and coins, kids have a choice of top branded play food cartons and tins to make their purchases. A selection of voice commands adds an extra level of realism with phrases like:
• "Please scan an item”
• "Put the item in the bag!"
• "Scan another item or press finish and pay!"
• "Select payment type!"

This item is socially and scholastically educational. It teaches children about shopping and the different ways of paying for it and the use of bank cards. Great!
