Launched in 2011, Fyrflyz “light show in your hands” is a trendy and portable device that creates the most amazing coloured light-sourced patterns.
Created by US toy and entertainment company i-Star Entertainment, each Fyrflyz toy is an accurately balanced device that can be made to spin by applying tension or slackness to the attached string. As the Fyrflyz spins, the LED lights create the most incredible show of light in a constantly changing pattern.
Launched in the UK at the beginning of June 2011, Vivid Imaginations hold the UK licence to distribute Fyrflyz which are available in traditional toy shops as well as multiple outlets and websites. Having mastered the simple technique, kids will soon learn how to create alternative patterns such as Loop de Loops or Shooting Stars.

Each Fyrflyz is made with a tough but light outer shell and comes complete with batteries, soft-edged LED lights, an on-off switch, strings and a twin grip handle. A variety of different colours are available to make the Fyrflyz a hot collectable toy.
In 2012 the company launched their amazing FyrWyrkz toys at the London Toy Fair. This extraordinary selection of toys recreates all the excitement of indoor fireworks, without any of the associated dangers or mess. By utilising the same priciples as Fyrflyz, kids can safely display catherine wheels, roman candles and sparklers with their FyrWyrks gadgets.

Adults will love this too. The gorgeous patterns of light the FyrFlyz creates is mesmerising. I could play with one of these for hours.
