I think if anyone is struggling with deciding on which of these to buy, you simply need to think of what your child will be using it for besides games. The InnoTab has the feature of adding extra memory and an mp3 player, whereas the LeapPad Explorer has a camera and video recording. So if your child would like the benefit of listening to music over taking pictures, get the InnoTab; or if you think your child would enjoy taking videos and pictures more go for the LeapPad! Hope this helps!

I'm really struggling to decide. LeapPad has the memory there but I can't see a big difference in these apart from the batteries you need. I'd like to know more about both these items to make it clearer... will they both have charger systems or not?

I have the iPad and my 6yr olddaughter is always wanting to play on it. So I thought about getting her her own "iPad". Well, the comparison tables have helped, but I cannot make my mind up which to get for her. I wanted it to be a surprise for her birthday but maybe I'll just have to secretively ask which she prefers.
