Moon Dough is a very special compound produced by Spin Master that has a unique, non-drying feature that allows it to be moulded and remoulded again and again. As well as being wheat-free, the compound is hypo-allergenic.
The best way to describe Moon Dough's feel and texture is that it is almost marshmallow like - and the fact that it doesn't stick, stain or dry out will undoubtedly be a major selling point for parents all over the country!
Moon Dough is the follow-up product to the hugely successful Moon Sand which works on a very similar principle. With a large advertising campaign that includes a special TV offer for some regions, we expect the new dough to be a big hit with kids this year, depsite all the other new releases that there will be in the Creative Play category.
Expect various add-on playsets to be integrated into the Moon Dough range as the year goes on. Confirmed playsets include a Moon Dough pizza oven, a diner, a barn and a puppy set. All of these should prove popular choices for fans of the dough.

This stuff is awesome! It never dries out and hasn't caused any messy problems.
Fun, but not without problems!

My 3 year old absolutely loved this stuff and it kept her happy for ages. The main trouble is the odd texture. Sure, it doesn't dry out, but what it does instead is crumble so much that you can't really play with the creations before they disintegrate. It also gets everywhere and takes forever to clean up! Moon Dough definitely has it's plus sides but I'd rather stick to good old Play-Doh.
Too crumbly

You can't mold things freehand - you can only use the molds. Very messy.
