The award-winning Lamaze Octotunes Musical Octopus conceals a different sound in each of its eight tentacles, which reveal themselves when the tentacle is pressed. The toy is vanilla-scented and comes with a song book, so the cute critter can even be used as an unusual musical instrument! Finally, as a rather chunky and heavy toy – measuring in at nearly a foot tall and wide – it comes with a carry handle so that it can be easily transported as the baby grows.
The musical octopus exels as a loveable companion, and also encourages the development of hand-eye co-ordination, sound recognition and nurturing play. It can also be the first step towards a lifelong fascination with music for young minds. This charming toy is really well made and a real delight to look at and handle.
