Very few games can walk the line of being fun to play and educational. A lot of games claim this, however, they are either too educational and children soon tire of them or their educational claims are somewhat spurious!

BrainBox is genuinely a fun game that children enjoy playing and has a massive benefit of being covertly educational. BrainBox Reminisce contains 55 cards featuring the events occurring between 1990 - 2010 – to coincide with the 20th anniversary of Green Board Games. Illustrated in a child-friendly style with references to events, people and popular culture, this is a fabulous trip down memory lane as well as a brain game for all ages.

Do you remember when the Channel Tunnel opened? Or when Bob the Builder was the Christmas Number 1? The game is ingeniously simple. A player has ten seconds to study the card and is then asked a question from the back of the card, chosen by the roll of a die. If the card is answered correctly the card is kept, if not, it is returned to the box. The most cards held after ten minutes decides the winner.

Very simple. Very clever. Certainly a game to be played again and again. Retailing under £10 also makes it a fabulous gift for any family. With the added bonus of using a minimum of 70% recycled material in the production – this game gives you satisfaction of protecting your environment too!
