Wooden Shape Sorting Clock Toy Review
Melissa & Doug
One of the best ways to introduce children to educational concepts such as basic literacy or numeracy, is to slip it by them under the guise of fun. Melissa and Doug’s Wooden Shape Sorting Clock is a fantastic example of this, combining several educational aspects: hand-eye co-ordination, telling the time, plus colour and shape recognition – with a brightly-coloured toy that will keep tots fascinated for hours.
The sorting clock features 12 colourful differently-shaped blocks which can be fitted into the correct slot. The blocks are satisfyingly chunky and easy to manipulate for little hands and the hands on the clock – which along with the clock face are covered in interesting facts and information – are completely moveable, to help toddlers learn about the time.
This wooden Shape Sorting Clock toy is suitable for children between 18 months and 3 years, and soon becomes a compelling activity. The wood is of the best quality and the paint is completely non-toxic, so if your child likes to test out objects by chewing them they can do so in complete safety.
This clock is a perfect gift for pre-schoolers, and like the rest of the Melissa and Doug range it is a wonderful twist on a traditional toy. Highly recommended!
