Main 'The Great Discovery Set' Features
This 34 piece train-set comes with a ready to assemble wooden track, two brightly coloured stations and, most importantly, two trains, Thomas and Stanley. As the engines are pushed over certain points in the track they activate phrases and sounds specific to each train. The set requires 6AA batteries, and can be incorporated with other items from the Thomas range to extend the play value.

Benefits
Although it took some time to put the track together, this robust train set encouraged hand-eye coordination and concentration skills in the process (even for the adults involved!). Ben, three, loved the personalised greetings, and enjoyed talking to his parents about what he was doing with the trains. Enjoyed equally by boys and girls, our testers felt this set encouraged imaginative, cooperative play between children.
