Bristol is fiercely proud of it's independent retailers... nowhere more so than the wonderful Gloucester Road where the BOGOFS Campaign (standing for "Bishopston Opposed to Glut of Supermarkets") has received widespread support from local retailers and shoppers alike.
Areas like Bishopston and Totterdown are home to several niche toy shops including Totally Toys, Als Hobbies and the Jack and Jill Toy Shop. Even the city's trendy creative quarters, Paintworks, has recently become home to a bustling wooden toy shop called Revilo Toys.
If you're after High Street toy shops, then all the household-name toy retailers have a presence in the city. The Broadmead shopping centre is home to the Bear Factory and The Entertainer - and the popular Cribbs Causeway out-of-town shopping centre hosts Toys 'R' Us, the Early Learning Centre and many more.
Bristol's shopping centre is undergoing the largest regeneration programme since World War 2 - and Cabot Circus is set to provide over 100 new shops, several of which are likely to be major toy retailers. Do you know of any toy shops based in Bristol that aren't included here? Why not contact us and tell us about them?
