As part of the independent Toymaster group, Gliddons are able to offer a huge range of toys at very competitive prices. They are well established locally, and are visited by customers from miles around. A major attraction in the shop is a large ball pool, to keep the under 5’s happy and contented whilst Mum and Dad select the toys and games. This is also supplemented by a play area for children up to 10 years old, and features items such a wooden train play table.

Gliddons is a very traditional toy shop, and keeps well up to date with all the newest toy trends and fashions. If you want the latest doll, construction toy, game or novelty, then Gliddons are sure to have it. Their preschool department sells toys from all the best manufacturers, games from all the popular makers, and their tremendous ranges even go up in age to radio controlled vehicles and construction sets for teenagers and young adults.

Gilddons is still run by the family, who pride themselves on excellent customer service, and the ability to try and obtain any toy that a customer may want. The Christmas Club is an important part of their service, and on payment of a small deposit they will keep any toy in store until required, to help parents avoid prying eyes and fingers at home.
