As part of the English Riviera, this coastal town's economy has always been largely based around tourism. This does not mean that it lacks shopping opportunities however, as the town's main shopping streets of Winner Street, Torbay Road and Victoria Street, continue to offer locals and visitors an eclectic range of interesting shops - several of which sell toys, gifts and gadgets.
