About Softfloor Kids

Based in Brightlingsea in Essex, Softfloor Kids is a major producer and retailer of high quality interactive and educational play mats. The soft floor mats interlock with each other, and offer a safe and fun surface for children's play areas both inside and out. The mats are fully interlocking and very easy to lay, as well as being portable and easy to pack away. There are several ready-made packs available containing varied colours, shapes, letters, numbers, symbols and even a musical piano mat.

Customers can also design their own colour schemes using a mixture of the plain and educational mats. Each tile is 30cm x 30cm and 12mm thick, which makes them much thicker and firmer than other mats on the market. Additionally, they have an anti-slip base and a high density which provides good support and a range of fall heights including 0.9m on concrete. They provide great stability and durability as an indoor or outdoor play surface.

All the mats, with the exception of the piano mat, interlock together providing endless opportunities for creating safe play areas whether large or small. The mats are ideal for use by infants and children of all ages. The mats are non-toxic, have been tested to SATRA guidelines and they also comply with current EU safety legislation.
