Established in 2003, Ecotopia's simple mission was to create a web-based supermarket offering environmentally-friendly products that people use in their everyday lives.
Ecotopia are based in Nailsworth in Gloucestershire and stock thousands of eco-friendly products including clothing, books, lighting, groceries, gifts, gadgets and toys. For the babies in your family, there are natural and organic nappies, cleansers and even degradable nappy sacks, whilst the range of baby clothes includes baby grows, gowns, bibs, hats and blankets.
Many of the wooden toys are manufactured from rubberwood trees that have reached the end of their life, and are felled to make way for replanting. The solid wood range of tough construction play vehicles include a loader, dumper and forklift truck, with a police car on standby in case of trouble! We particularly like the traditional wooden tops and skittles. The plastic duck has received a makeover by Ecotopia with a clockwork mechanism that recharges the buttons on his back which create sounds and lights.
