The Model Shop in Portsmouth is an established business that has been trading since 1980 and was previously known as Model Collectors Corner. During this time it has catered mainly for the needs of model railway customers in OO and N scales, whilst most other gauges can be specially ordered.
They keep extensive stocks of Hornby, Bachmann, Peco and Graham Farish systems including locomotives, rolling stock, lineside building and scenic materials as well as self assembly kits from Ratio, Peco, Wills, Dapol, Metcalf and Superquick. A large range of Peco track is stocked including fine scale and electro frog. Digital chipping of locos and general servicing is undertaken as well as repairs and motor rewinds. A large range of die-cast is also stocked from manufacturers such as Corgi, Oxford, OOC, EFE, Britbus and many others.
A comprehensive range of Scalextric is available including digital control systems. Plastic kits abound covering all the favourites such as army vehicles, naval ships, aircraft and much more from most leading manufacturers. Radio controlled cars are also sold by this well stocked Hampshire model shop.
