With its selection of small chain stores, cafes, supermarkets and banks, Clitheroe does very well in terms of shopping facilities. If you're after independent retailers, make sure you check out the town's open air shopping arcade, Swan Court. We'd also recommend you venture towards Waddington where you will find Backridge Farm. This used to be a fully working farm but is now home to a great little Clitheroe toy shop called "Wish Gifts" as well as a number of other retail units selling interior and lifestyle products.
