They have dressing up outfits, outdoor play equipment such as climbing frames, sandpits and balance bikes available to order.
Items range from pocket money priced toys through to those gifts for those special occasions, such as dolls houses, garages, farms, castles, baby walkers and Quadrilla wooden marble runs. They stock favourites such as Jellycat soft toys, Playmobil, rag dolls, bath toys, science kits and wooden train track plus more unusual items such as Djeco art sets and Le Toy Van play sets. They also have an interesting selection of educational toys and books, including board books, storybooks and first readers. The stock has been selected from a variety of suppliers across the UK and Europe and toys are chosen for their play value, quality, durability and educational and developmental value.
The staff offer help and advice based on the age and interest of the recipient plus a gift wrap service. Customers are encouraged to browse and children are encouraged to play with the items on the play table and with the marble run, whilst parents shop in peace, making it a popular destination for parents and children alike.

Lovely local family toy shop
Comment by James, 2nd August 2011
I've gotten to know Amanda and Nicola at Monkey Puzzle quite well over the last couple of years of South-Manchester toy searching, so I guess am now a bit biased! They are always really helpful with loads of ideas for birthday presents and treats, big and small. Main thing for me is that I always leave with something suitable for the occasion after having had a good laugh as well.
Great independent feel

The shop has a greater independent feel than all the other brand-driven shops, so the toys and quality is second to none.
The wooden drum set bought for Christmas is still going strong. Next item I'll be getting from there is a balance bike, the best way to learn to ride a bike... Awesome.
