Baby Boom Boom has grown out of the increased demand for introducing young people to modern languages at an early age and offers multi-lingual music to stimulate young minds.
The fun and interactive CDs contain well-known songs and nursery rhymes sung in English and a choice of second languages including French, Spanish, Italian and German. The CDs come packed with four carefully selected instruments designed for small hands: a baby drum, a rainbow-shaker, a cage-bell and a “fishy shake-shake”.
Baby Boom Boom products are more sophisticated than they may appear at first glance. Based on the knowledge that babies form language from small sound units, and are helped to anchor language formation through repetition, rhyme, rhythm and music, the CDs and musical instrument packs encourage children to be actively involved in their own learning.
Popular songs contained on the CDs include Old MacDonald, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and The Wheels on the Bus - and words to accompany both languages are included with the disk. Baby Boom Boom helps babies and toddlers to feel comfortable with the sounds of other languages, paving the way for easier adoption in later life.
