About keen2learn

Based in Doncaster, keen2learn was established in 2006 with the aim to allow parents access to a range of educational games, toys, puzzles and teaching resources used in lessons at school. The idea was to let parents help with the schooling process by practising with their children - or grandchildren, what they are learning in class. Within the first year keen2learn had won a national award from Intel computers and asked by teachers to extend the range.

They wanted to recommend the same products they used to parents - and also wanted buy products for their school. They found buying from one store much easier than ploughing through multiple supplier catalogues. Today the keen2learn range features the top teaching resources from over 50 educational suppliers. The age range extends from 5 to 15 years covering the 4 keys stages of the National Curriculum. The products are predominately fun based to enthral children and make the learning process enjoyable."Learning in Disguise" is at the heart of the process. New products are continually added as suppliers ask to be represented on the site.

The special needs range is very extensive, and following the vital needs of renewable energy, a significant range of has been introduced covering solar, wind, wave and fuel cell renewable energy. These exciting science products are a combination of educational games, toys and classroom experiments that intrigue enthuse and educate. The growth of the keen2learn site has been a roller-coaster of fun for the father and son team who developed it. Learning can be fun and practice is the greatest means of learning retention for children - and parents.
