Situated on Southgate Street in Winchester, Childhood's Dream is a fantastic toy shop that sells wonderful, high-quality toys with great play value. The owners aim to provide an ever-changing stock so that customers will always find something new to interest them. The lovely high-ceilinged shop stocks a large range of Plan Toys and I'm Toys, as well as Moulin Roty from France, and Kathe Kruse and Haba from Germany.
Childhood's Dream has a good choice of musical instruments, including recorders and guitars - and a wide range of interesting 'Usborne' books. They stock the ever-popular Brio wooden train sets, fantastic dressing up clothes, educational and entertaining jigsaws and distinctive birthday cards. One of the shop's best-sellers is the 'Plan Toys' Victorian dolls house with special price bundles for some of the families and accessories.
This family-run toy shop is a real wonderland of toys in the heart of Winchester and features some amazing trikes and scooters to keep the energetic youngsters on the move. There are also some lovely wooden pull-alongs to keep the toddlers happy, and the fascinating Quadrilla marble run system for budding engineers!
