It wasn't so long ago that children's role-play kitchens consisted of little more than a wooden cupboard with a pair of pretend hobs on top and a few plastic pots and pans thrown in for good measure. Having seen the latest Zanussi toy kitchen from specialist role play toy manufacturer HTI however, it would appear that kids now demand nothing than less than hyper-realistic versions of the very equipment that they see their parents use everyday!
The latest pretend Zanussi kitchen from HTI is a masterclass in both design and execution. This sleek, Italian-designed kitchen comes complete with hobs, clock, toaster, pans, oven, fridge and play food. Gone are the usual gaudy colours you see on most toy kitchens - and in comes a very slick metallic and yellow unit with splashes of colour provided courtesy of some "here's some I made earlier" cupcakes and the obligatory salt and pepper shakers.
HTI's Zanussi toys may not be the cheapest around, but they certainly provide value for money when you consider the many hours of role play fun these products provide. Complementary toys include the Panini & Waffle Maker, although with all the features available on this complete toy kitchen, we fail to see why any extras would ever be necessary.
