Robopocalypse by Daniel H Wilson is causing huge excitement amongst his legion of fans, not least because Steven Spielberg has been announced as the director of the film of the same name!
The adventure explores the destiny of the human race after an uprising by many of the robots they created, and Robopocalypse is going to be hugely realistic with Daniel’s inside knowledge of robotics. He holds a PhD in robotics and has already written several books on the subject, the most recent of which is ‘How to Survive a Robot Uprising’.
Whilst it’s too early to have any knowledge of Robopocalypse toys, it would seem to be a certainty that one of the large toy manufacturers will be granted a licence to produce a series of ultimate animatronic Robopocalypse toys to fit with the subject matter of the book and film. Forget Transformers, Spider-Man or Iron Man, Robopocalypse will likely blow them all out of the water!
