Formally called the British Toy Importers Association, Equitoy is an association of member companies that are involved in the trade, importation and distribution of toys.
Membership of Equitoy brings many practical advantages - particularly through the associations links with legal, safety, customs and insurance advisors. For example, members have free access to an initial consultation with a solicitor on legal matters and receive regular information by industry specialists regarding changes to custom procedures, toy safety, EU law and much more.
Members meet bi-annually to share ideas and best practises - and they also benefit from special rates on services like insurance, and on publications from The British Standards Institution.
