Started in 2004 by the husband and wife team of Tim and Sam, Lighthouse Toys has gone from strength to strength, and as well as a superb shop, they now also have a great website as well.

The business specialises in the sale of educational toys and books, but they also stock huge ranges of arts & crafts, puzzles, games, toys and science related sets. Their main toy buyer is a teacher who has specialised in children with special needs, and this experience is reflected in some of the superb educational toy ranges. All age groups are catered for, and the adults have a great selection of jigsaws and games.

The ranges of brands that are stocked are almost endless. Galt, Magformers, Zometool, Engino, Bigjigs, Gibsons, Games, Orchard Toys, Sylvanian Families, Brookite and John Adams are some of the best known, but there are many more as well. If you are visiting their shop you can be sure of personal service and advice by staff that are well trained and knowledgeable in specific areas.

Their website is easy to use and all items are accompanied by detailed descriptions and prices. They aim to dispatch all orders within a day of receipt.
