The Consulting Gamer is Ashford's one stop shop for all gaming needs.

The shop stocks a wide range of video game and table top products. They stock both new and pre-owned video games and consoles ranging from the latest systems such as the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and Xbox One to the retro Super Nintendo or Sega Megadrive. This includes games for the retro consoles too.

Away from electronic products, they cater for the needs of the tabletop players and stock Games Workshop, Star Wars X-Wing and Tanks products. One of their biggest areas however, is in trading cards such as Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon among others.

The business regularly holds tournaments in-store with a large friendly player community. To help their gaming customers, The Consulting Gamer can advise them how to protect their trading cards with sleeves, deck boxes, play mats and any other accessories they may need. They regularly hold events for a number of different games and the staff have expert knowledge across all the products they stock.
