Created in 2007 - and produced by the veteran animation company King Rollo Films - Humf is a preschool children's show that centres on the daily lives of Humf, his family and numerous friends.
Broadcast on Nick Jr, Humf is described as a “furry thing” who is purple, round and very cuddly! Humf lives in a flat with his Mum and Dad. His own favourite toy is called Crispy Cakehead. His friends Wallace and Loon are green hairy things and pink fairy things respectively, whilst his parents are blue and red.
Aurora World announced that they would be responsible for creating a wide range of Humf toys. This was great news for young Humf fans because Aurora is the company behind some superb soft toys for other children's shows such as Moomin and The Gruffalo.
Aurora's Humf toy range includes soft toys of Humf, keyrings and beanies, some of which include sound chips. In addition, various other branded merchandise is available including sticker albums, activity books, posters and audio CDs.
Other products from a variety of suppliers include stationary, craft sets and clothing. Major puzzle maker Jumbo Games announced a series of Humf jigsaw puzzles and games to support this popular brand.
